Blue Yeti USB Microphone – Silver

Great for – starting a podcast

There’s something about sitting with this mic that makes it way less daunting than any recording studio I’ve ever been in. I bought it as a gift to myself when I decided to start my podcast having had it recommended by my partner’s business coach.

It’s a solid and heavy piece of kit and the design makes it feel fun to use. I’ve never used a microphone like this before but do use the audio record function on my smart phone a lot. Although I’m not particularly versed in condenser microphones, a music producer friend swears by their quality.

A microphone like this would be especially useful for work-at-home situations. Since you’ll have to partake in a lot more Zoom and Skype calls than usual, making sure your colleagues can hear you in crisp audio will make a huge difference.

Kroser Laptop Backpack

Great for – creating a mobile office

I can’t fault this backpack. It is unbelievably good value at under $36. It has a compartment for literally everything you need from pens to your steel water bottle. The compartments are large enough to keep files and papers from creasing. It is super well-padded so I wouldn’t hesitate to put in two electronic items. They’d be well protected for sure.

This backpack is the best mobile office I’ve ever used. The USB port for your power pack-smart phone/ tablet is a handy feature. I found even having it there helped me to remember to pack my power pack. It’s pretty big so I could even imagine taking this as an overnight bag with my laptop contained inside too.

Another advantage is that it’s very sturdy. The material is obviously good quality and does not tear, rip, or cut easily. I don’t carry any knives in my office backpack, mind you, but even the plastic wrapping of gas station sandwiches can be surprisingly sharp. Better safe than sorry.

During the weekends, I use this backpack on day trips as it has so many convenient pockets for our family essentials. We’ve also gathered a 35+ list of the best backpacks for college if you want to look for an alternative.

Tablet Stand – Silver (9.9 x 8.6 x 2.2 cm)

Great for – using as a desktop phone stand for Zoom or Skype calls

This item is so compact and neat! You press a button and it folds down and then back up again. You can store it flat in a drawer or a bag and you can adjust the angle easily. This is such a well-made product.

I’ve used it in the kitchen to prop up my iPad and read a recipe from the screen. Let me tell you that it’s very convenient for that. I’ve also used it to prop up my iPhone to take timer photos and for recording Instagram talking video stories, too.

That’s not all. I also used it to prop up my phone and watch (a lot) of Youtube instructional videos whilst crafting. If you work at a desk, it’s super handy to keep your smart phone stored in the stand while you work.

There’s nothing negative I could say about this product, I really hope it lasts – it looks like it would – it’s just simply great!

ProCase Accessories Organizer – Grey

Great for – never loosing those cables and memory chips again

I was keen to try this case out as I use flash drives on my GoPro a lot for projects and didn’t have quite the right storage place for SD cards and cables. This case is so handy and will ensure I have everything I need when I go out. It’s well made, stitched together and definitely worth the money. You can keep all your cables organized in one place and never lose those tiny SD cards again!

To me, this is a Godsent. If you don’t have a dedicated storage space for small items, then you’re probably going to spread them throughout your wallet or your bag – as I do – and then struggle trying to find out where they’ve hidden. Thankfully, I won’t have to go through that again.

KeepCup BFIL12 Brew – Cork Edition | 12oz Medium

Great for – money-saving coffee on the go

I am a huge fan of reusable coffee cups! When I work in the city, I always take one with me and hit the coffee shop on the walk to a meeting. In the UK if you take your own cup you save 0.25p each time at most coffee shops now.

I’ve noticed a few Instagram folk talk about their Keep Cup and was definitely aware of the brand (good old product placement). They’ve designed the cup in over 12 color designs and in 3 sizes too. It comes in both toughened glass and BPA-free plastic.

Personally, I’m never in a hurry to follow trends but I was curious how the glass cup with a cork sleeve would compare to my favorite bamboo material cup of choice. I enjoyed taking the cup in the car to drive to a meeting and it has sat on my desk with me a good few times at one of my client offices.

In the end, it’s become a trusty companion that I’ve gotten quite used to.

Amazon Tri-pod

Great for – taking video with a GO PRO camera

Myself and my partner both use this tripod. It doesn’t come with a mount for smart phones. You have to buy that separately. There is one available that’s compatible via Amazon.

The spirit level contained within the unit is really useful for lining up your camera to make sure it helps you take super straight images.

What’s really great about using this tripod is that it’s lightweight and it comes in a handy black storage bag. This means you can tuck it away or store it in your desk or on a coat rack. I will be recommending it to all of my blogger friends who need those super sharp looking social media pictures.

Bose QuietComfort Noise-Canceling Headphones

Great for – muting office chatter and blocking out annoying people

Get rid of annoying noises like office chat, intrusive co-workers, and questions you’d rather not answer to immediately, with this pair of stylish but affordable BOSE headphones. This office gadget’s noise cancelling feature is a dream come true when the office suddenly turns into a noisy Zoo.

The headphones are corded but they can be easily turned into wireless headphones if you want to use just the noise cancellation feature, which is built into the headphones. You’ll need a AAA battery for that as the headphones have no rechargeable Li-ion battery, which might explain the low price.

Cable Clips Cord

Great for – desk cord management

Indispensable. Period. My MacBook Air cable always slips from the desk and while it’s good for the body to get up regularly I prefer getting up with my wristwatch hourly alarm or just take regular breaks, not because the falling cable demands me to. I also have a bunch of other cables from a bigger screen, headsets, and other plug and play office toys I regularly use. 😀 So this little cable clips organizer is not just eye-candy for my OCD, it’s also one of the most practical office gadget you can have on your desk.

Mini Portable Humidifier

Great for – mobility and low noise air humidifying

Perfect for dry closed offices like mine that pump non-stop heat in the winter and air conditioners during summer. It really drove me crazy and I wanted something cheap small plug and play type and this little guy does the trick. Your lungs and skin will thank you. Superb office gadget.

On the other hand, you might want to get a de-humidifier instead. If your office space is too humid, then condensation will build up into mold (hidden in the cracks and corners of the space) and before long you’ll be at health risk.

Halter Steel Mesh Spinning Desk Sorter – Rotating Pencil Holder – Black

Great for – sorting and staking office stationery

Office supplies are more of a choice these days with all the gadgets out there replacing paper. But all my front desk and HR people know the meaning of a great organizer! And I’m an office gadgets freak, I love stationery so this rotating gizmo is everything I need when I get my groove on. Cheap, doesn’t take much space and the dividers are as practical as they get.

Vintage Wooden Block Perpetual Calendar

Great for – DIY calendar keeping

This trippy perpetual calendar gave me a much-needed break from all things digital. It’s slick, fun, and ideal for those who always need to do something with their hands.

Posture Corrector

Great for – correcting your slouching at the office

Boom! Best office gadget, hack, or trick for the eternal sloucher. Most of these posture corrector braces are either too small, too expensive, too something you don’t want and you end up throwing money out the window. Again, I’ve curated this list so comment below if it didn’t do the trick for you, but I’m giving this a 5/5 for being discreet, easy to adjust, easy to put on, excellent on the back.

Think Board Clear Self-Adhesive Whiteboard

Great for – visualizing ideas and plans

Now this a true centerpiece of any office gadget wish list! I’m incredibly psyched about this clear whiteboard! I can move it around and again, upcycle the whiteboard I have at the office right now. A productivityist’s must have! I wonder if Mike Vardy, the one and only Productivityist, has one of these. Mike, if you’re reading this, let us know! 😀

Monitor Stand and Desk Organizer

Great for – raising your desk monitor and it doubles as an organizer

This monitor stand and desk organizer combo is indeed a mind reader. I have a wide monitor that I use with my Mac so this monitor stand is a life saver. And since I have a really wide standing desk, this fits remarkably well and I can organize all my favorite stationery like a boss! Besides, I just can’t get over the fact that you can fit a lot more than at first glance. Bag of holding, anyone?

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Headset Holder

Great for – storing chunky headsets

If you use those chunky headsets at work or you are a gamer (this could probably go with the small ones too, by the way) then this is the perfect office gadget for you. It has a cable loop holder so your headset cable doesn’t tangle and it comes in 4 colors. You’ll love it!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Day-to-Day Calendar, motivational

Great for – keeping the calendar on a positive note

If you want an alternative calendar to the DIY one above this is a perfect – albeit expensive – choice. Therapy doesn’t come cheap. Jen Sincero knew how to leverage her coaching career and got a series of motivational products that are selling like hotcake. This Day-to-day motivational calendar is no exception. Start each day with a positive attitude that will spread out through your entire day. I’d keep’em when the year finishes and upcycle them into a DIY calendar. You’re welcome.

Electric Pencil Sharpener

Great for – fast sharpening pencils 🙂

I’ve always wanted one of these! Actually I’ve always dreamt of those chunky old school ones you’d see in 80’s movies, but this electric pencil sharpener takes it to the next level as it’s more compact, you can plug it to a USB port or power cord (if you run out of batteries), useful for more than one type of pencils. And believe me, I’ve gone through a ton of reviews to find the best, I hate throwing money out the window. 5/5 + <3

Things I Want To Say at Work But Can’t: Lined Journal Notebook

Great for – giving it as a gift to your favorite introvert colleague

Not really an office gadget per se, but come on it makes for a fun thing to have on your desk, even if you just fill it with little heart emojis. And I’m sure it makes for a great conversation starter. Also, it would make a pretty fun office present. iI you’d like a great notebook or a daily planner check out the reviews on The High Performance planner and Best Daily Planner Reviewed in Top Countdown.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Positivity Pencil Set

Great for – reminding you about the perks of stoicism (and for the electric sharpener above :D)

Positivity affirmations in an unexpected context? Yes, please! And this goes great with the new electric sharpener above. But because I don’t want to wear these off that fast and because I’m smart, thank you very much, I suggest getting a big bag of those classic HB yellow pencils. They both work great, especially if you push like a maniac against the paper (like I do).
